This Web site was built and is maintained by the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy. RiverMap.org is a joint project of the Mississippi River Basin Alliance (MRBA); the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy (IATP); the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture (LCSA); Green Lands, Blue Waters; and the Sustainability Institute. We collect the domain name and email address (if applicable) of visitors to our Web page, the email address of those who communicate with us via email, aggregate information on what pages visitors access and information volunteered by visitors, such as survey information and/or site registrations, name, address and telephone number.

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages, to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor and to notify users about updates to the Web site.

Rivermap.org does not set any cookies.

Registered users are individuals or organizations that have completed the RiverMap survey. Any information collected in the survey (unless otherwise noted) will be made public at http://www.rivermap.org/.

We may contact you periodically to inform registered users of upgrades, changes or news about RiverMap. If you do not want to receive email from us in the future, please let us know by sending us an email at the above address.

RiverMap will contact registered users by email, postal mail, telephone, etc., exclusively for purposes directly related to this site. Because registered users' contact information is made public, however, RiverMap is not responsible for any email, postal mail, telephone calls, etc., sent by third parties.

From time to time, we may use user information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change in the future, we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.
